Homecoming 2015: Join in the Tradition

STATESBORO, Ga. – There’s plenty going on around Auxiliary Services to get you in the spirit of Homecoming!

If you missed the first Health Services flu clinic, be sure to stop by the office (between 8AM-12PM and 1-4:30PM) to get your flu shot before all of the fun starts. You have to keep the germs away to keep the party going!

Don’t forget to pick up your official 2015 Homecoming t-shirt from the University Store or online at gsustore.com. The new Ustore site goes live on October 14, so make sure to check it out. And for the alumni in town, the store will stay open until 6PM on Friday, Oct. 16 for any last minute gameday gear needs.

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, check out Lakeside Dining Commons for a Carnival-themed meal from 5-8PM. Fill up on traditional carnival food like corn dogs, boiled peanuts and chili plus a few twists like chicken and waffles, buffalo pizza and turkey legs!

University Housing is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Screaming Eagles: A Lip Sync Competition on Thursday, Oct. 15 in the Williams Center MPR. Doors open at 6:30PM with the show starting at 7PM. Come out for some “screaming good” entertainment and cheer on your favorite lip syncing group!

Parking enforcement will be waived at 2PM on Friday, but when you make plans to watch the parade, remember that traffic will be blocked along the route only to be reopened afterward.

Be sure to check us out on Facebook and Twitter for updates and pictures throughout the week. See you at the game on Saturday when we Axe the Aggies!
