Meeting Spaces

Georgia Southern campus houses an array of spaces to accommodate many event types and sizes. Classrooms and lecture halls range in capacity from 25 to 375 people, while our auditoriums and ballrooms hold from 500 to 825. Classrooms seating styles vary between fixed seating and movable desks, and individual room set-ups or room changes can be arranged according to each particular event. Most spaces have a full range of audio/visual equipment, and all spaces offer free wireless Internet access. Computer lab meeting space may also be reserved for lab sessions or individual use. Your Conference Services Coordinator will help you determine which space best suits your event and arrange reservations for you.

The Performing Arts Center at Georgia Southern University is a modern performance facility, featuring an 825-seat theater, complete with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. Since opening its doors in 2002, the Performing Arts Center has served the Georgia Southern University and regional communities by providing world-class performing arts, music and dance as well as educational programs. With nearly 6,000 sq. ft. of showroom space and room for over 700 guests, the Russell Union Ballroom will easily accommodate your needs for a trade show, theater-style event, presentation hall and much more. Williams Center

The Frank I. Williams Center has been a gathering place for students and groups for over 55 years. Extensive renovations took place in 2011, and following its grand re-opening, the University System of Georgia awarded Georgia Southern University the 2011 Innovation Award in recognition of the creativity and originality of the changes that were made to the building. The Williams Center has meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 425 people and is very flexible in regards to setup configurations. View Photos

Whether you are planning a monthly meeting, executive retreat, workforce training, major regional conference, party, reunion or wedding reception, Nessmith-Lane has state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate any event. Featuring multiple meeting rooms to house nearly any size conference, meeting or event, it is equipped with wireless Internet access along with “smart classroom” technology. View Photos

The College of Engineering and Information Technology (I.T.) opened as a $33 million state-of-the-art facility complete with 25 interactive learning and study rooms, 10 computer labs, 14 electronic classrooms, a 120-seat lecture hall and a 240-seat auditorium. The Information Technology Building also features a soaring, two-story atrium lobby looking out to the campus and a Market Street Deli. View Photos
