Let the Good Times Roll: Dining Commons to Host Special Meal for Mardi Gras

STATESBORO, Ga. –Eagle Dining Services invites students, faculty and staff to attend “Let the Good Times Roll” meal in honor of Mardi Gras 2015. The event will feature a live DJ as well as games such as corn hole. The dinner will take place in the Dining Commons on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 5 – 9 p.m.

Popular menu items, such as fried alligator, shrimp and grits shooters, chicken and Andouille gumbo, crab and shrimp etouffee, grilled B.B.Q. shrimp skewers, and more will be available. In addition, a crawfish boil, shrimp cocktail station and steamed oyster bar will also be available. Main courses will be followed with desserts, such as king cake from Gambino’s in New Orleans and Café Du Monde style beignets.

All Georgia Southern students, faculty and staff are invited to attend this special Mardi Gras event. Eagle Unlimited Dining Plan holders will receive unlimited access to this event. Price per entry with EaglExpress is $12. For credit, debit and cash holders the price is $15 plus tax.
