The Carnival Has Come Early This Year
STATESBORO, Ga. —The carnival has come early this year! On Wednesday, October 14, Lakeside will host their Homecoming Carnival from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The Carnival will allow patrons the chance to indulge in their favorite carnival-style foods and games while experiencing the sensation of Las Southern. Popular carnival menu options such as turkey legs, buffalo chicken pizza, foot-long hot dogs, ultimate loaded chili bar, pulled pork sliders, and many more carnival favorites will be served.
“We hope all of our Dining Plan Holders and campus community will join us,” said Greg Crawford, Director of Residential Dining. “We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday to help kick off the Fall season and get ready for Georgia Southern’s Homecoming weekend!”
Lakeside will be closed from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. to prepare for this event. All Georgia Southern students, faculty and staff are invited to attend this special Homecoming Carnival. Eagle Unlimited Dining Plan holders will receive unlimited access, and price per entry with Eaglexpress is $12. For credit, debit and cash holders the price is $15 plus tax.
