Lakeside’s Churrascaria: A Brazilian Barbeque
Eagle Dining Services is excited to announce they will be hosting the second dining event of semester, “Churrascaria”, a Brazilian BBQ at Lakeside Dining Commons on Oct. 13 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Come enjoy a taste of Brazil at Lakeside Dining Commons with Brazilian-style music and amazing cultural dishes. The Brazilian BBQ will cater dishes such as Costela de Boi (Beef Ribs), Fogo Feijoada (Black Bean and Rice Stew), Pescoco de Porco (Parmesan Pork) and more!
Lakeside Dining Commons’ Executive Chef, Clay Culpepper, explains what he wants people to take away from this exquisite menu. “I want people to feel like they just stepped into a Brazilian steakhouse by focusing on the popular meat dishes and sides that are well-known in the country of Brazil,” said Culpepper. Along with the impressive menu, the Brazilian-culture vibe of the event will make you feel like you’re in an authentic Brazilian steakhouse. The attendees will enjoy upbeat, cultural music, a colorful array of décor, special drink glass giveaway and more!
Lakeside will be closing at 2 p.m. in preparation for the event and will reopen at 5 p.m. to kick off the festivities. However, Dining Commons will be open and available. Dining Plan holders receive all-access to the event. Eaglexpress entry is $12 and for cash, credit/debit entry is $15 plus tax.
