What is the Semester Health Fee?

The health fee provides the opportunity to receive quality, multi-disciplinary healthcare, wellness and health maintenance within a few steps of campus classes. Students enrolled in 4 or more credits on the Armstrong campus are charged a health fee as part of their tuition and fees each semester.* Liberty campus students, fully online students and students taking less than 4 credit hours are not charged a health fee. Enrolled students that are not charged the health fee have the option to pay the semester fee for access to services.

Fall & Spring semester fee – $20

Summer semester fee- $10

The following services are covered by the student health fee:

  • Nursing Visits
  • Blood Pressure Screening
  • Venipuncture
  • Health Education
  • Medical Supplies
  • Vision Screening
  • IV Therapy
  • Specific laboratory tests and medications

Other Discounted Services:

Office Visits (Nurse Practitioner) – $10

Laboratory services $5-$40

Immunizations  $25-$155

PPD (TB test)  $15

Injection Administration $5

We do not bill insurance plans for services provided.

Some students may have medical conditions that require a referral to other healthcare providers or specialists for consultation or treatment. All expenses related to the medical services of referred providers are the responsibility of the student.
