Live in Southern Courtyard
Opened in 2003, Southern Courtyard houses 476 residents in apartments in an apartment-style building with the support of on-campus resources. Georgia Southern University offers students the advantage of living in a unique, apartment-style environment while staying in on-campus housing. Enjoy the great benefits of safety, security, and timely maintenance while having your own volleyball court, computer lab, and more.

University Housing is excited to announce that we will be providing all new furniture in the Southern Courtyard residence hall for Fall 2024. Arrangements of bedroom furniture in this floor plan include: junior loft XL twin bed (up to 36′ high), dresser that can fit under loft or moved and a desk with removable pedestal table. The common area space includes: a three seat sofa, chair, coffee table and TV stand.

Rate information is available at gsuhousing.com/rates. Current year rates are posted and future year rates will be posted when approved by the University System of Georgia.
*Rates are per person/per semester. An additional $20 Activity Fee is charged every semester. All rates are pending until approved by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
Students are required to respond to email or paper correspondence from the Georgia Southern University Office of Student Accounts, Financial Aid Office and/or Registrar’s Office regarding outstanding requirements for processing financial aid packages for payment on their account.
