Frequently Asked Questions – SOAR

As a student do I need to make any arrangements to stay on campus?

No – your night of housing between Day 1 and Day 2 are covered by your SOAR registration fee.

What about housing for my parent(s)/family?

The SOAR registration fee for parents or other guests does NOT include any housing and they will need to either make a reservation with through the Student SOAR Registration portal on the Admissions Status Check Page or make arrangements with a local hotel.

When can I check in? When do I check out?

Students & parents with a reservation may check in at 10 AM on Day 1 of their SOAR session. All guests must be checked out by 12 noon on Day 2.

Do I need to bring linens/towels?

Parents – No. Each parent room includes sheets, blanket, pillow and a towel set to use.

Students – Yes. You need to provide your own sheets, blankets, towels and pillows.  The beds associated with SOAR student housing contain a twin XL 80″ mattress.

Is there a TV in my room?

No – there are no TVs in student or Parent Housing for SOAR. There are several TVs located in the building in the community lounges that guests may use.
