Gameday Parking Changes

Thursday, October 26, 2023 vs. Georgia State

Erk Russell Athletic Park, Including Paulson Stadium Gold Lot
Student parking will be available until 5 p.m. in the Gold Lot at Paulson Stadium on Wednesday, October 25. All vehicles parked at Paulson Stadium must be removed by 6 p.m. Towing will be enforced for vehicles that are not removed by 6 p.m. Paulson will not be open for Student parking at all on Thursday. 

RAC (Recreation Activity Center)
Vehicles parked at the RAC on Thursday game days should be removed by 2:00 p.m. or face towing.

PAC (Performing Arts Center)
The PAC/Nessmith-Lane Parking Lot will be closed to students, faculty, and staff all day on Thursday, October 26. Faculty and staff can park in Lot 29 until 2:00 p.m. as an alternative. East Georgia students should park in Lot 31. 

Parking on Campus
Residential, faculty, staff and other campus parking lots will be available for student parking starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25. Students and staff are allowed to park in those lots instead of parking at the RAC, PAC and Gold Lot – Paulson Stadium. Spaces in front of Hanner Fieldhouse can also be utilized. Parking will be available on a first come, first served basis. Safety violations will still be enforced, however. Motorists should avoid parking in fire lanes, handicap spaces, or sidewalks.

Transit
On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the buses will continue on their normal weekday routes until 4:30 p.m. The gold route will continue until 6:00 p.m. and the Publix shuttle will run from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Game day shuttles will follow their normal game day routes.

Tips

• Expect major delays
• Encourage carpooling
• Exercise patience and good spirit
• Residents of University Housing should keep cars parked at the residence halls
