Connecting every corner. Parking and Transportation Services supports the University by ensuring students have an enjoyable, flexible and accessible campus experience. We are also responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the University’s parking regulations, as well as the placement and maintenance of parking and traffic control devices. We’re constantly adapting to the needs of our campus and student body.
We ensure campus traffic safety, operate the Southern Express transit system and manage parking permits. There are over 13,000 parking spaces for students and the entire campus community. Students may purchase their parking permits online. Southern Express buses can be conveniently tracked on any Apple or Android mobile device via the PassioGo app. There is an electric charging station with dedicated spaces available for electric vehicles near the Parking and Transportation office.

Designated Lots
On-campus residents and commuters may purchase a parking permit each year. Living in a residence hall guarantees you a space in your specific residence hall lot.
Travel in Style
Don’t trek to class in the rain again; use Southern Express! Our bus transit system runs throughout campus daily and has several convenient stops to make your trip smooth and easy.
Decal-Free Parking
Georgia Southern is a decal-free campus. Lot management software makes your license plate your parking permit. Pulling through or backing into parking spaces is no longer allowed.
