Auxiliary Weather Advisory – October 10, 2018

Please continue to closely monitor official messaging from Georgia Southern University in regards to weather and closure updates.

Due to inclement weather and the threat of Hurricane Michael, Auxiliary Services will begin amended operating hours starting Oct. 9. As conditions improve and the University reopens, so will Auxiliary Services departments.

Health Services, Parking and Transportation, Eagle Card Services and all retail locations (University Store, Tech Corner, Armstrong Bookstore and Retail Dining locations) on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 10, Thursday, Oct. 11 and while the University remains closed.

The amended operating hours for Oct. 10-11 are as follows:

University Housing

Statesboro & Armstrong campuses- Residence halls will remain open. Housing staff and Public Safety officers will be on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses at all times. Students are encouraged to shelter in place and avoid unnecessary travel.

Eagle Dining Services

Dining Commons- 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., limited menu. From 2-3 p.m. passing out boxed lunches to dining plan holders on Oct. 10.
Lakeside Dining Commons- Closed.
The Galley-  7 a.m. to 2 p.m., limited menu. From 2-3 p.m. passing out boxed lunches to dining plan holders on Oct. 10.
All Retail Locations- Closed.

Health Services*

Statesboro Campus- Closed.
Armstrong Campus- Closed.
*Appointments will be rescheduled.

Retail

University Store- Closed.
Tech Corner- Closed.
Printing and Postal Services- Closed.
Armstrong Bookstore- Closed.

Eagle Card Services

Statesboro Campus- Closed.
Armstrong Campus- Closed.

Parking and Transportation

Statesboro Campus- Closed. Shuttles will not operate.
Armstrong Campus- Closed.
