Big Changes to Dining on the Armstrong Campus

In May of this year, the Armstrong Campus dining program transitioned to become part of Eagle Dining Services, an Auxiliary Services department of Georgia Southern University. Over the next few months, you will begin to see a number of dining transformations on campus as we move forward with this transition.

The Galley Dining Commons will remain as the premier spot for residential dining on the Armstrong Campus. Conveniently located in the Student Union, The Galley provides the campus with a wide range of food stations and a unique food experience. The Galley offers fresh, oven-baked pizza, pasta, home-style favorites, Tex-Mex cuisine, a salad bar with a large variety of options, dessert and more. Students may use their Dining Plan at The Galley as well as at both Residential Dining locations on the Statesboro Campus.

In addition to the Residential Dining advancements, EDS is adding new retail locations to the Armstrong Campus. The Statesboro Campus favorite, GUS Mart, will make its way to the Armstrong Campus Student Union this summer. Sushi with Gusto, The Perk, and the revamped University Court (Union Deli, Chick-fil-A and a Starbucks kiosk) will make their Armstrong Campus debuts throughout the fall semester.

In addition to those Retail Dining locations, EDS’s Blue Tie Catering will now service the Armstrong Campus. The Blue Tie Catering food truck will begin operating in the fall.

Patrons may use Dining Dollars, Budget Bucks or EagleXpress in addition to traditional forms of payment at all of these Retail Dining Locations as well as all Residential and Retail Dining locations on the Statesboro Campus.
