Operational Changes due to COVID-19

Starting March 20, hours for all dining operations will change on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses until further notice. Dining operations throughout the university will adjust in order to adhere to recommendations by the CDC, University System of Georgia and Georgia Southern University administration.

Dining Commons and The Galley

Both locations will still be available to the University community during this period of caution and change. Both locations will offer customers a hot and cold option, dessert and drink. Anyone who presents their Eagle Card (student, faculty or staff) will be able to dine in these locations for only $8.75. Cashless methods of payment are encouraged (Budget Bucks, EagleXpress, credit/debit, etc.) but cash will still be received.

*There will be a limited number of individuals allowed into the facility at a time to adhere to the guidelines presented by the CDC.

Retail Dining Locations & GUS Marts

Most retail dining locations on either campus will be closed until further notice. GUS Mart locations on both campuses will remain open to provide means for students who remain on campus, faculty/staff and members of the community in the area to get convenience items, quick meals and other toiletries as needed. Again, cashless methods of payment are encouraged (Budget Bucks, EagleXpress, credit/debit, etc.) but cash will still be received.
