COVID Testing Information

COVID testing at GS Student Health Services on the Armstrong and Statesboro campuses is currently limited to students who are reporting symptoms consistent with COVID.  Following an evaluation with one of our medical providers, if symptoms are present a swab specimen can be collected and sent to our reference lab.  Results typically return within 2-7 days, and all customary billing practices apply.

Testing of asymptomatic students is not available at Health Services on either campus, but no-cost testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals is available through the Department of Public Health in both Statesboro and Savannah.  If you are asymptomatic and want to be tested, click here for information on arranging free testing through DPH.

Additionally, testing is available at CVS in Statesboro and Savannah.   You must complete a screening form and qualify for testing based on the criteria that CVS is using.  For more information, click here for CVS in Statesboro and here for CVS in Savannah.
