Statesboro DPH COVID-19 Testing Options for Students, Faculty and Staff

Info courtesy of Bulloch County Health Department:

Beginning September 2, 2020 the DPH COVID test site at the Bulloch County Health Department, located at 1 West Altman Street in Statesboro, will begin to offer testing hours reserved specifically for Georgia Southern University students, faculty and staff. These testing hours for Georgia Southern will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

If you desire to be tested there you must enter your demographic information online in advance at covid19.dph.ga.gov,  or you can call 855-473-4374 to register.  Once you have entered your demographic information, you can then go to the site during any of the times listed above.

During the registration process, once you enter your demographic information and get the prompt that states: “You qualify to book an appointment online, Click next to register, “  DO NOT CLICK “NEXT.” If you click next you will not find an appointment time for the times mentioned above and instead, the system will direct you to schedule outside of those designated time blocks.

Just as a reminder, the Bulloch County Health Department test site will continue to see persons who have registered online until 12:30 p.m.

If you are unable to be seen at the test site during the dedicated hours listed above, you can still register online for testing at the site during the other times that it is open.  To do so, during the registration process you should click “Next” to register to see schedule a test for a different day/time.
