Vaccines are still available at no-cost to you!
The distribution of COVID-19 vaccines changed in September 2023. COVID-19 vaccines are still available at no cost to most people living in the U.S. through their private health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid plans.
A nationwide program has been created that provides no-cost COVID-19 vaccines to adults 18 years and older without health insurance and adults with health insurance that does not provide zero-cost access to COVID-19 vaccines. Eligible students, faculty, and staff can visit vaccines.gov to a find a local provider that offers no-cost COVID-19 vaccines.

Recommendation for Everyone Aged 5 Years to 64 Years
- Get 1 updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least two months after getting the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.

People Aged 65 Years and Older
- Get 1 updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least two months after getting the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.
- Get 1 additional dose of the updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after receiving your last dose of the updated vaccine.

Recommendations for People Who Moderately or Severely Immunocompromised
- People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get additional doses of updated COVID-19 vaccine. Talk to your healthcare provider about additional updated doses and if they are right for you!
