Welcome to the Health Services Pharmacy

The Georgia Southern Health Services Pharmacy provides students, faculty/staff and retirees with prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as other healthcare supplies all at competitive prices. We are able to fill prescriptions written by both our providers as well as outside providers. We also offer individual counseling with our Pharmacist upon request. Prescription assistance arrangements can also be made for students who have no insurance coverage through our Patient Support Services Office.

The Pharmacy Service is currently managed by Registered Pharmacist Russell Bozeman.  Hours of operation are from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm, Monday – Thursday and  9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm on Friday when Health Services is open. (912) 478-5780.

Medications must be paid for at the time they are dispensed.

Accepted forms of payment include:
  • Cash
  • Check
  • Eaglexpress
  • Credit Card (American Express, Master Card, VISA, Discover)

Do We Accept Insurance Plans? Yes. Our Pharmacy accepts most major prescription insurance plans. We offer discounted rates on most medications for those that are not covered by an insurance plan.

Can I Transfer My Prescriptions? Yes. If you would like to transfer your prescriptions to our Pharmacy, we will contact the outside pharmacy to transfer any remaining refills you may have. You may call (912) 478-5780 to transfer your prescriptions.

What If I Will Be Off Campus? If you will not be on campus for a specific time (i.e. holidays, semester, etc.), some prescriptions can be filled for longer periods of time depending on your insurance plan or provider approval. We can also transfer your prescription to any other pharmacy if necessary.

Refill requests:

In order to serve you more efficiently, if you require a refill on a medication prescribed for you by one of our providers, please contact the pharmacy where you filled the script to initiate the refill request electronically; or, you may send your provider a secure message in Online Student Health to request the refill.  Health Services providers do not accept telephoned refill requests.
