Statesboro Campus

The Teal House: Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center (SRSAC) provides Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) services, the medical examination program addressing rape and/or sexual assault, for Statesboro and surrounding counties. This facility is located at 209 South College Street in Statesboro, Georgia.

If you are a victim of sexual assault/rape, please call 1-866-489-2225. More information about The Teal House/SRSAC can be found at http://www.srsac.org/ . Forensic examination, counseling, and support are provided on a 24-hour basis.

If a student calls or presents to Georgia Southern Health Services, we will assist in contacting The Teal House/SRSAC to coordinate the evaluation as needed.

The Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is dedicated to raising awareness about sexual assault issues in the Georgia Southern Community. It is a multidisciplinary team with representatives from various on and off-campus departments and organizations, such as the Counseling Center, Health Services, Equal Opportunity & Title IX, Housing, Office of Student Activities, and the Teal House. Armstrong Campus

Mary’s Place, the Advocacy, Prevention, and Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire, provides SANE services, the medical examination program addressing rape and/or sexual assault in Savannah and the surrounding counties. Forensic examination, counseling, and support are provided on a 24-hour basis.

If a student calls or presents to Georgia Southern Health Services, we will assist in contacting Mary’s Place to coordinate the evaluation as needed.
