Armstrong – Residence Life
Residence Life at the Armstrong Campus is more than just a place to stay: it’s the energy, the excitement, the opportunity to get involved, and the people who make it such a great place to live.
Residence Life staff
You have designated Resident Assistants (RAs) for your residence hall. RAs are here to assist you in a number of ways that include providing fun ways to make friends and become more connected to the campus, answering your questions, and generally helping you make the most of living here.
Residential Programming and Engagement
Residential programming is a great way for you to interact and socialize with your neighbors. We design and promote educational programs on topics necessary for your successful matriculation and student development. Programming occurs in both large and small settings and are an integral part of developing a strong community culture within the residence halls.
Join the Resident Student Association (RSA)
The RSA is a student group comprised entirely of residential student representatives from throughout our residence halls. RSA does amazing things for your community such as socials, community service activities, and works with the Director of Housing to propose favorable changes for residents. Join RSA and have your voice heard.

Learn what it means to live here
Our Community Living Guide, as well as our Code of Student Conduct, have an undeserved reputation of badness. In reality, they exist to create accountability so that you can have a safe, secure, and studious living, learning environment. After all, education is your first priority. Make sure that you familiarize yourself with both sets of policies so you know your rights and responsibilities as a resident.
Maintenance of your home
As a community member, you are expected to keep up standard cleaning tasks associated with your everyday living, including but not limited to removing trash, cleaning of windows and vents, replacement of regular household light bulbs, plunging toilets, cleaning of your bathroom and common areas. Any maintenance issues should be reported immediately.
Health and Safety Inspections (HSIs)
HSIs are completed by RAs throughout semester to ensure that all residential areas on campus are safe and secure for our residential population. We will notify you of your scheduled inspections at least 72 hours in advance of inspections. Check your What’s Going On notification and Important Dates for exact dates.
