Parking and Transportation Services Reroutes Stadium Shuttle

by Sean McCormick

Parking and Transportation will change the route of the former stadium shuttle starting Monday, March 19. The new Sweetheart Shuttle route will pick up students from Paulson Stadium and drop off students outside of the Communication Arts building, also known as Sanford Hall, on Sweetheart Circle. This is the first time there will be a permanent stop located on Sweetheart Circle. It was brought to Parking and Transportation Services’ attention that a stop on Sweetheart would ease travel for students who frequent Sanford Hall, Cone Hall and the Hollis Building. This bus will run from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Friday.

“We’re excited to offer a new opportunity for Parking and Transportation, and hope that students are able to utilize this route to get from separate areas on campus as quickly as possible,” says Kristi Bryant, Director of Parking and Transportation.

While the stop between the Education and Nursing/Chemistry Building will be removed, the Gold Route bus will still make stops to Paulson Stadium and can assist students in moving to multiple locations around campus. Be sure to use the SmartTraxx app to ensure you make it to your classes on time and never miss the bus!
