Education: University of New Haven Graduate

Quick Bio: Richard Wynn, director of Eagle Card Services at Georgia Southern University, attended the University of New Haven where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. Over the course of his career, he has worked at several small startup companies specializing in custom mass storage devices where he developed document management systems. In the mid-90s, Wynn started working with smart card technology and cashless payments systems. At CyberMark, a solutions provider of card technologies for college and universities, Wynn was the Director of Technical Services. He was employed with Florida State University as director of the FSU Card program where he modernized and expanded the use of card technology before transferring to Georgia Southern. Wynn has restructured the Eagle Card Program at Georgia Southern, pioneered the use of biometric iris technology throughout campus and made other significant strides for Georgia Southern Auxiliary Services department.
