New Fall 2020 Hours of Operation

Starting fall 2020, Printing and Postal Services on the Armstrong and Statesboro campus of Georgia Southern University will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This will allow Printing and Postal staff to clean and sanitize areas of each location in order to safely serve customers. Please remember to wear face coverings while on any University System of Georgia campus, and visit the Georgia Southern University Return to Campus (COVID) website for more information.

Temporary Suspension of Services on the Statesboro Campus

Effective immediately, Printing Services on the Statesboro Campus will be temporarily suspended until July 9, 2020. Please contact Printing and Postal Services via email at printshop@georgiasouthern.edu about any current print jobs.

Postal Services on the Statesboro Campus will be closed to the public during this time. However, they will still process incoming mail and outgoing university/departmental mail. Pre-stamped letters and small UPS packages with mailing labels may still be dropped off via their dropbox.

We thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times.

Operational Changes due to COVID-19

Printing and Postal Services will operate normal operating hours on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses until further notice. Mail delivery to university departments is currently limited to the following buildings:

  • UPD (both campuses)
  • DFS (both campuses)
  • Student Union (Armstrong)
  • Dining Commons (Statesboro)
  • Marvin Pittman (Statesboro)
  • Housing (both campuses)

All other departments can pick up mail & packages from both Printing and Postal locations. Delivery of large packages can be coordinated with Printing and Postal on a case by case basis by contacting Printing and Postal Services at (912) 478-5697 Statesboro campus and 912-344-3036 Armstrong campus.

Courier service to three Georgia Southern campuses now available

Printing and Postal Services now offers a free, convenient courier service for delivery of mail between the three Georgia Southern Campuses campuses for faculty and staff.

The courier service runs throughout campuses on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Delivery to the receiving campus will be made on the next courier day. For example, if a letter leaves the  Statesboro Campus on Monday, it will not be delivered to the Savannah or Hinesville campuses until Wednesday.

Internal mail service within each campus will continue to operate as it has in the past. The drop off and delivery points for the new courier service are located at the respective centralized mail center on each campus.

“This service aims to make it easier to transfer documents and small packages among our three campuses,” said Eddie Mills, associate vice president for Auxiliary Services. “We’re looking forward to this partnership, as it’s one more way that we’re making efficient use of our resources.”

When labeling campus mail envelopes, ensure the recipient name, mailbox or department number, and campus location are visible.

The courier service is provided by Middle Georgia Courier and is contracted through Printing and Postal Services.
