Closures and amended hours due to Hurricane Dorian
Out of an abundance of caution, Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro Campus, Armstrong Campus and Liberty Campus will be closed and classes are canceled on Tuesday, September 3, and Wednesday, September 4, due to Hurricane Dorian.
Retail dining locations on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses, as well as Lakeside on the Statesboro Campus and The Galley on the Armstrong Campus, will be closed. Boxed meals will be distributed to students with a current Eagle Card at The Galley on Monday, September 2 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Dining Commons on the Statesboro Campus will be open on Monday, September 2 and Tuesday, September 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Boxed meals will be distributed to students with a current Eagle Card at Dining Commons on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. to ensure students have meals on Wednesday. All Eagle Dining Services locations will be closed on Wednesday, September 4. Please visit GeorgiaSouthern.edu/alert for further updates.
